What hasterolls5e does
Section titled “What hasterolls5e does”hasterolls5e shortens the attack flow. When an attack hits, it clicks the damage button on the chat card. It skips the roll configuration dialog unless Shift is held.
Tenacity’s addition
Section titled “Tenacity’s addition”hasterolls5e fires its auto-damage once, when the original attack resolves. A missed attack rolls no damage. The auto-trigger does not come back on its own.
When a player uses Spend Tenacity on a missed attack and the new total meets or beats the target’s AC, Tenacity re-triggers the damage flow on the same target. The one-click behavior carries over to the flipped hit.
This runs only when hasterolls5e is installed, active, and its Auto-Roll Damage setting is on. With any of those off, Tenacity leaves the damage step alone and the player rolls damage manually.
What the player sees
Section titled “What the player sees”- The original attack card shows a miss.
- The player spends Tenacity. The Spend result chat message reports the raise and that the attack now hits.
- A damage card appears for the same attack, as if the original roll had hit.
