Peddler

Shopping as a conversation instead of a list of buttons. A player right-clicks a shop's token and steps into a full-screen vignette, talks to the shopkeeper through a dialogue tree you wrote, and browses the wares. They build a cart, confirm, and the trade commits on your client.

Peddler requires Foundry VTT v14 and the free 3DS Atlas module. Start at Getting started for installation and your first shop.

Apply one of ten shop archetypes to any NPC actor. Each one ships with a complete dialogue tree, a matching look, and its own tricks.

Players shop inside a full-screen vignette: dialogue with the shopkeeper, a browsable shelf, a cart, and a confirm step.

By default a shop serves one customer at a time and puts everyone else in a line, though you can allow several customers to shop the same shop at once. Queue and sessions covers the waiting line, your queue controls, and resuming an interrupted visit.

Fourteen themes on six chassis change both the look and the layout of the scene.

Players can haggle with a skill roll against a ladder of DCs. The higher they roll, the deeper the discount.

Restock schedules tied to world time, roll-table stocking, and infinite staples.

Every shop has its own settings window on the actor sheet, with tabs for configuration, stock, transaction history, and the queue.

The dialogue tree editor gives you nodes, choices, conditions, effects, free-text input, and a visual graph.

Dedicated system adapters ship for six systems. Every other system runs on a generic adapter with nothing disabled.
