3 Death Saves

Weather and Conditions

This feature is inert unless the Calendaria module is installed and active. Without it, there is no weather to read, and the Configure Weather Multipliers dialog has no presets to show.

Turn on Weather Affects Travel Speed in the settings panel. See Settings.

Open Configure Weather Multipliers in the settings panel. The dialog is GM-only.

Two groups of multipliers apply:

  • Weather presets: one multiplier per weather preset Calendaria defines, such as rain or snow. A multiplier below 1 slows travel; above 1 speeds it up. A preset left at its default has no effect and is not stored.
  • Severity: one multiplier per Calendaria severity band, from none to extreme. Calendaria rates each day’s weather by wind, precipitation, temperature extremity, and darkness. Severity multipliers stack with the preset multiplier.

Severity rows start from built-in defaults and can be overridden individually. See Settings for the default values.

The modifiers only apply when Calendaria has current weather to report. Without an active weather state, travel runs as if the setting were off.

When a preset multiplier and a severity multiplier both differ from default, they combine in the calculation. Each active modifier gets its own line on the chat card, naming what it is and whether it speeds up or slows down the trip.

Other modules can contribute their own modifiers alongside weather’s, through the module’s API. See API and Hooks.
