Syrinscape

Minstrel can drive your Syrinscape Online player. It sends play and stop requests to the Syrinscape Online API with your account token, and the sound plays on your active Syrinscape player.

The audio never passes through Foundry. No playlist or sound document is created in your world, and the console’s volume faders, bus mutes, and ducking have no effect on it.

The integration runs on two world settings: a toggle and your Syrinscape auth token. Both are required. It stays inactive while the token is empty, even with the toggle on. See Settings.

With both set, an Import from Syrinscape button appears below the pads on the console’s Ambience tab.

That button opens the Syrinscape Browser. It fetches your soundsets when it opens and selects the first one.

The dropdown at the top picks the soundset, and changing it reloads the two lists below: Moods and One-Shots. When no soundsets come back, the window reads “No soundsets found. Check your Syrinscape token in settings.”

Every row carries a preview button that plays that mood or one-shot on your Syrinscape player. The stop button beside the dropdown sends a stop-all to the player.

The plus button on a mood row creates a Minstrel mood that triggers the Syrinscape mood. It takes the Syrinscape name and starts with no playlists attached. Applying the mood tells Syrinscape to play, and stopping the mood tells Syrinscape to stop. Edit the mood afterwards to attach Foundry playlists alongside the trigger.

The plus button on a one-shot row creates a soundboard pad on the Ambience tab, named after the one-shot. Pressing the pad tells Syrinscape to play that element. A pad carrying a Syrinscape trigger plays no Foundry audio, so its volume and ducking settings do not apply to it.

Moods are applied by the active GM, so the request to Syrinscape goes out from that client.

The mood editor carries a Syrinscape section with a Type selector and a Syrinscape ID field. Choose Mood or Element and enter the ID. The editor stores one trigger per mood. It fires when you apply the mood and stops when you stop the mood, in step with the mood’s playlists.
