Tiles
Linked Tile
Section titled “Linked Tile”A trigger’s Linked Tile field, on the General tab, ties a trigger’s Region to one Tile. Drag the Tile onto the field, or search it by name.
The Tile is authoritative. Move, resize, rotate, or retexture it, and the Region’s shape updates to match. Editing the Region directly doesn’t move the Tile back.
Clearing Linked Tile breaks the connection. The Region keeps whatever shape it last had; it doesn’t revert to a plain rectangle.
Trace Tile Image
Section titled “Trace Tile Image”Trace Tile Image, next to Linked Tile, shapes the Region to the Tile’s opaque pixels instead of its rectangular bounds.
Tracing needs the Tile’s texture at its default scale and offset, with Fit set to Fill. A Tile that doesn’t meet those conditions, or whose image traces to too complex an outline, falls back to the rectangular bounds instead.
Drag-and-drop quick create
Section titled “Drag-and-drop quick create”You can drag an Item, a Scene, or a Macro from its sidebar directory onto the canvas to create a linked click trigger in one step.
| Dropped | Tile image | Click behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Item | The item’s icon | Hides the Tile, adds the item to the triggering actor’s inventory, and notifies the triggering player. |
| Scene | The scene’s thumbnail | Shows the scene to the user who clicked. |
| Macro | The macro’s icon | Runs the macro. |
Each drop creates the Tile and its linked trigger together, sized to one grid space.
