First-run
Section titled “First-run”After enabling the module in a world:
- Open any scene with at least one ambient or token light source.
- Switch the scene controls to the Lighting tool palette.
- The Toggle Token Light Condition button (eye-low-vision icon) sits at the end of the toolbar. It is on by default and matches the world
enablesetting. See Scene Control Toggle. - Drop a character or NPC token onto the scene. The module flags it as initialized and immediately calculates its lighting condition. Eligibility requires only that the actor type is character or npc and that the initialized flag is set. Tokens with HP above 0 receive a lighting condition; tokens at 0 HP have any existing lighting effects cleared.
- Right-click the token to see the lighting indicator in the token HUD. See Token HUD Indicator.
If the toolbar button is missing, the GM permission check failed: only the GM client adds the control.
