3 Death Saves

Tenacity

Failed rolls hurt. Tenacity flips them. Pocket a Mote on a whiffed d20, spend it later to push a different roll over the line.

Start with Installation to set up the module.

Quick Start covers running Motes at the table.

A failed d20 roll grants a Mote. See Earning Tenacity for the detection modes.

A player spends Motes from the chat card to raise a roll after it resolves. See Spending Tenacity.

A spend that still falls short refunds part of the Motes to the pool. See Refunds and Failed Raises.

You can reveal a roll’s DC on its chat card with one click. See DC Reveal.

A Mote pool converts to Heroic Inspiration at the end of a long rest once it reaches a configured threshold. See Rest and Conversion.

Tenacity detects midi-qol, monks-tokenbar, flash-rolls-5e, haste-rolls-5e, epic-rolls-5e, Ready Set Roll Reforged, and tidy5e-sheet, and turns on support for each when it finds it installed. With midi-qol it adds pre-resolve spend windows and per-target save prompts. With Calendaria installed, the reset trigger can also fire on in-game dawn or midnight.

See the module pages: midi-qol, monks-tokenbar, flash-rolls-5e, haste-rolls-5e, epic-rolls-5e, Ready Set Roll Reforged, tidy5e-sheet, and Rest and Conversion.

Tenacity exposes a TENACITY API for granting, spending, counting, and inspecting Mote pools from other modules. See API Reference.
