Requirements

Minstrel requires Foundry VTT v14 and the 3DS:ATLAS library module.

Install

Caution

Minstrel is a premium module, distributed only through Patreon.

1. Subscribe at https://www.patreon.com/c/3deathsaves to a tier that includes Minstrel.
2. Connect your Foundry account to Patreon at https://foundryvtt.com/me/account. Minstrel then appears in your entitled modules.
3. On Foundry’s Setup screen, go to Add-on Modules, click Install Module, search for Minstrel, and click Install.
4. Enable Minstrel and 3DS:ATLAS in your world under Module Management.

Open the console

The console is Minstrel’s main window. Open it in any of these ways:

• Select Ambient Sound Controls in the scene controls, then click the Minstrel button.
• Press Alt+M to toggle it. Rebind Toggle Minstrel Console under Controls Configuration.
• Open Game Settings and click Open Console under Minstrel Console.

The scene control button and the settings button are GM-only. Players open the console with the keybinding; see Console for what they can see and do there.

Play your first playlist

1. Create a playlist in Foundry’s Playlists sidebar and add tracks. Minstrel plays Foundry’s own playlists.
2. Open the console. Music playlists appear as albums on the Music tab. Ambience and interface playlists appear on the Ambience tab.
3. Click an album’s play button. The transport bar at the bottom of the console shows the current track.
4. Give the playlist cover art from its configuration sheet.
