Time Keeper

Time-only display with a small footprint.

  • The Toggle Time Keeper keybind. See Keybinds.
  • The Time Keeper button on the scene-controls Notes toolbar, shown when Time Keeper is enabled under Toolbar Apps.
  • The Time Keeper button in the journal sidebar footer, shown when the journal footer is enabled.
  • The Open Time Keeper button on the Time Keeper tab in Settings.
  • On world load, when Show Time Keeper on Load is enabled.
  • CALENDARIA.api.showTimeKeeper() and CALENDARIA.api.toggleTimeKeeper().

None of these open the Time Keeper for a user without the View Time Keeper permission. See Permissions.

  • Fixed compact width
  • Controls hidden on idle, revealed on hover, for a user with the Change Date/Time permission
  • Play/pause button revealed over the time display on hover, for a user with the Change Date/Time permission
  • Shift-click the play/pause button to lock or unlock the clock
  • Right-click context menu for settings, visibility, position controls, and tray pinning
  • Four configurable time-jump buttons per increment type
  • Date display hidden by setting the Time Keeper date format to “off”
  • Draggable via the time display area

Hover to reveal. The tray renders only for a user with the Change Date/Time permission, and hovering reveals no controls for anyone else.

The increment selector offers Second, Round, Minute, Hour, Day, Week, Month, Season, and Year. Month is omitted on a monthless calendar. Scroll the wheel over the selector to step through the options, which stop at the first and last entry. The selected increment is remembered per user across sessions.

Jump amounts differ per increment type. Configure them on the Time Keeper tab in Settings.

Show to All opens the Time Keeper for every player with the View Time Keeper permission, and turns on Show Time Keeper on Load. While it is on, a player who tries to close the Time Keeper gets a warning that the window cannot be closed. If a connected user lacks the View Time Keeper permission, a warning names that user when you turn Show to All on. Hide from All closes the Time Keeper for every player.

  • Reset Position: Returns the Time Keeper to its default coordinates and clears any sticky zone snapping
  • Lock/Unlock Position: Prevents dragging when locked; available via the context menu or the Time Keeper tab in Settings; shows a notification when toggling

To snap the Time Keeper into place, drag it near a sticky zone. It wobbles while a zone is in range. See HUD > Sticky zones for zone locations.

Position is saved per user and restored on the next load, including the zone it was snapped to.
