Settings

Every Tenacity setting is world-scoped, under Game Settings, Configure Settings, Tenacity. Defaults are tuned for a typical 5e table; adjust to taste.

Blind Roll BehaviorExemptHow Tenacity treats blind and GM-only rolls. Exempt: no Motes and no Spend prompt. Grant, No Prompt: a Mote is earned but the Spend dialog does not auto-open. Normal: treated like a public roll. See Earning Tenacity.

Revoke Mote on FlipOffWhen Tenacity raises a roll to a success, revoke the Mote that was granted for the original failure. The roll wasn’t really a failure if you turned it into a success.
Refund on Tenacity FailureOnGive back spent Tenacity when a raise still doesn’t flip the outcome.
Failed Tenacity Refund %100How much gets refunded when a raise fails. 100 means full refund. Range 0 to 100.
Tenacity CritsOffTreat a raise to 20 as a critical hit. Off by default since RAW only counts the original die face.
Lock on New RollOnOnce an actor rolls again, their prior unraised rolls can no longer be raised. A card laid is a card played.

Post-Hoc SpendOnAllow spending Tenacity after a midi-qol workflow resolves, to retroactively flip a miss into a hit or a failed save into a save.
Post-Hoc Damage UndoConfirmWhat happens after a post-hoc save flip. Auto: silently restore HP. Confirm: GM dialog before HP write. Off: leave damage as-is.
Post-Hoc Window0Seconds after workflow resolves within which post-hoc spend is allowed. 0 means no limit. Range 0 to 3600.
