All settings are world-scoped and configured under Configure Settings → Mindful Encounters. The settings panel groups them under Budget, Dungeon turn, and Enforcement headers.

| Speed data path | blank | Dot-path on the actor to read speed from when no manual cap is set. Blank uses the system default. |

| Over-budget behaviour | Veto | Veto cancels an over-budget move. Clamp stops it at the budget line. |
| Count elevation against the budget | On | Charge vertical movement as 3D distance instead of planar only. |
| GM over-budget reconciliation | On | Warn the GM if a token ends up over budget. A notice, not a rewind. |
| Enforce GM moves too | Off | Apply caps to the GM’s own drags. The GM bypasses them by default. |
