Usage
Default Detach is system-agnostic. You open one dialog and fill in one list of checkboxes.
Opening the Configure dialog
Section titled “Opening the Configure dialog”Open the Game Settings sidebar, click Configure Settings, and find the Default Detach section in the module list. Click the Configure button next to Configure Auto-Detach to open the Default Detach Configuration dialog.
Discovering applications
Section titled “Discovering applications”Foundry does not expose a master list of detachable application types. The module learns about an application the first time it renders during your session.
When you open the Configure dialog before any application has rendered, the list shows a message:
No applications discovered yet. Open some sheets and windows, then reopen this dialog.
To populate the list, close the dialog, open each sheet, journal, compendium, or window you want to manage, then reopen the Configure dialog. Anything you saved in a previous session stays in the list before you reopen it.
Choosing what auto-detaches
Section titled “Choosing what auto-detaches”The dialog lists each discovered application in two columns, Application and Auto-Detach. Check the box next to each application type you want to open in a detached browser window. Uncheck anything you no longer want to detach. Click Save Configuration to apply your selection.
A checked application type then opens in its own browser window each time it renders.
Per-user behavior
Section titled “Per-user behavior”Each user has their own auto-detach list. The setting is client-scoped, so a checkbox on your account does not affect any other player at the table. Your list persists across sessions, and saved entries stay visible in the dialog before those applications render again.
