Documentation Search
3DS:ATLAS includes a search window for the 3 Death Saves wiki. You look up a page without leaving Foundry.
Opening documentation search
Section titled “Opening documentation search”To launch the 3DS Documentation Search window, open the module settings, find the 3DS:ATLAS entry, and click the Open Documentation Search button on the 3DS Documentation row. The menu is not restricted to the GM, and a player can open it from their own settings.
Filtering the wiki
Section titled “Filtering the wiki”The window opens on the whole wiki index. The Module dropdown narrows the list to one registered 3DS module, and All Modules shows every page. The Search field below it filters the visible list as you type. The query field takes focus as soon as the window opens and reads “Search documentation…” until you type. A query matches against a page title and its heading, and case does not matter. A row that points at a section within a page shows the page title followed by the heading, and a row that points at the page itself shows the title alone. Every row carries the name of the module the page belongs to on the right. A search that matches nothing shows “No matching wiki pages.”
Opening a result
Section titled “Opening a result”To open a wiki page in a new browser tab, click its result. The search window stays open with your filters unchanged.
When the wiki is unreachable
Section titled “When the wiki is unreachable”The window reads the wiki index over the internet when you open it. Any failed read shows “Wiki search is unavailable right now.” in place of the search controls. A blocked connection and an error response from the site both show the same message. To retry, close the window and open it again.
